Vision

To Support the Mission and People of New Life Fellowship by participating with Jesus in Overseeing their G.I.F.T.E.D.NESS (Everyone has (a) Gift/s – 1 Cor 12:4-11)

Strategy & Values

G.I.F.T.E.D.ness (Gifted, Identified, Focused, Trained, Empowered, Devoted)

The values behind this Role are for NLF to Be

  1. G = Gifted: This is the value of participating with Jesus in His obedience to the Father in the power of the Spirit and ensuring that members recognize and embrace their gift/s according to the Spirit’s choosing for the Common Good of The Church.
  2. I = Identified: This is the value of participating with Jesus in making sure that not only are gifts recognized privately but that these members, along with their corresponding gifts, are made known PUBLICLY to the congregation for the benefit of all.
  3. F = Focused: This is the value of participating with Jesus in making sure that we not only identify gifts and acknowledge them publicly, but that we actually help members focus and zero in on their primary gifts as their main way of contributing health to the body. It should be noted that research proves that most Gift/s given to members are PERMANENT! This means that they can exercise confidence in their primary gifts, and not worry that the Lord will keep them guessing from year to year about how he might be working in them! The Holy Spirit promotes stability and health in His Church, not unhealthiness and instability!
  4. T = Trained: This is the value of participating with Jesus in making sure all people who are G.I.F.T.E.D. at NLF have the necessary training for exercising their primary gifts to the fullest and improve in the use of these Gift/s for the benefit of the Common Good.
  5. E = Empowered: This is the value of participating with Jesus in making sure the Gift/s of members are actually released, enabled and authorized for the use and benefit of others in and beyond NLF.
  6. D = Devoted: This is the value of participating with Jesus in his devotional life of prayer, commitment and passion toward the Trinity, Humanity and Creation in order that, along with Jesus, gifted members can be counted on and the Relational trust and spirit in the congregation be strengthened and increased.Because we want to Interact with and Experience the Trinity in every part of the G.I.F.T. process, we intend to positively immerse and encourage every part of the discovery process with personal and collective prayer with the counselee.
