Vision

To Support the Mission and People of New Life Fellowship by participating with Jesus in the Ministry of Media
(“…what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the word of life” – 1 John 1:1)

Values & Strategy

H.O.U.S.E. (Gospel media is Heard, Optimized, Unified, Seen, Experienced)

The values behind this Role for Ministry Participants

  1. H = Heard: This is the value of participating with Jesus in His desire to Be the Word of God, hear from His Father, and to be heard in the Spirit. The Media Team makes every effort through skill training, quality equipment, team cooperation, and arriving early at fellowship gatherings to ensure that the Good News of the Trinity’s shared relationship with Humanity and Creation can be clearly heard by all, through all media (mics, speakers, computers, cd’s, dvd’s, etc.), with the use of our modern technologies.
  2. O = Optimized: This is the value of participating with Jesus in making sure that all Gospel media is optimized in such a way that it is set-up and tweaked as close to present professional and modern standards. The Gospel should also be transmitted and recorded in the technical ways that most people are used to experiencing media in the present day. All recorded items should be optimized, archived and stored according to standards of quality, organization and long-term preservation.
  3. U = Unified: This is the value of participating with Jesus in making sure that the Gospel through Media is transmitted and displayed in a unified way in which everything works together, minimizing hum, buzz, squeaks, static and other sounds that can distract and take away from experiencing the proclamation and experience of the Gospel. This also includes consistency among all sources with regard to NLF logos, verbiage, links, and other technological signs designed to point to the Gospel as NLF understands it.
  4. S = Seen: This is the value of participating with Jesus in His desire to Be the Word of God seen, to see His Father, and to send the Spirit so that men might see. The Media Team makes every effort through skill training, quality equipment, team cooperation, and arriving early at fellowship gatherings to ensure that the Good News of the Trinity’s shared relationship with Humanity and Creation can be clearly seen by all, through all media (mics, speakers, computers, cd’s, dvd’s, etc.), with the use of our modern technologies.
  5. E = Experienced: This is the value of participating with Jesus in making all the parts of Gospel media work together in such a way that however the Holy Spirit decides to move in a service, there is a Trinitarian experience of God accented by quality media and gifted personnel. This kind of Media is another reflection of the Distinction and Union of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit working joyfully within time, space and matter!
